This painting came out of a time confusion, uncertainty and spiritual disintegration. My old beliefs could not hold up against my actual experience, causing mental and psychological dissonance. This image was not planned out beforehand, adding to its significance and depth. As I painted it, I explored my own doubt and fear. I hope it also invites you to explore your own uncertainty and find presence in discomfort.
I used acrylic black, brown, reds and whites - shapes and lines interact with each other, giving the feeling of movement and stillness simultaneously. Thank you for viewing my work!
