Wisps in Phthalo blue
Wisps in Phthalo blue
$1,257.00
A variation on wisps I painted earlier. This time with phthalo blue as basis.
I started of with a a white background and black lines, but it didn’t work. Covering it in my favourite blue and using a white marker gave a nice effect. I was hesitant to do it, but the result is peculiar. I like it very much. The small dots of colour ad something peculiar to the painting.
The painting is ready to hang on the wall. Sides of the painting are painted as well, so it is not framed.
I named it ‘wisps” again, because it represents the work.
The Dutch word for “pendulum” is slinger. A party decoration. I preferred the english word “Wisps”. It has something mysterious and connects to the painting.
