This is mixed-media painting in layers.  I used the image of stacking mugs to inspire a visual interpretation in pattern, shape, and colour of an everyday kitchen incident.  It is a fun, whimsical, quirky moment of someone…in a hurry… forgetting to empty the last mug and then an “Oh No” moment.  Overall, a stylish “accident”.   The style is inspired by pop art and art deco.
