FEEDING: Red
FEEDING: Red
FEEDING is a series of works that were inspired by my experiences, feeding fishes in the temples of Thailand, feeding strays in a remote village of Kalasin Thailand, and feeding our feathered friends on Lake Constance. What are the motives for feeding? Is it for love, survival, sharing, or are there ulterior motives? Does the strongest take it all, or does the weakest fight and give up or loses? Depending on the types of animals, we see egoistic tendencies at different degrees. Do these have parallels with the human race? These paintings are made entirely out of my favorite brushstrokes, the “Kurrrlys”. Depending on your individual life experiences, these paintings will either be an explosion of energy or restless chaos.
This is the very first painting in RED. It depicts the moment when the fishes spring up to get the food when the food touches the water. Fish is a symbol of Abundance.
