In life, we ride the ups and downs. These ups and downs can be compared to waves due to their motion. When we sail the sea of life we learn and overcome. Sometimes the crashing waves or downs are so crushing that they overwhelm our ships (our lives). We are shipwrecked and are completely broken. We eventually find a shore and begin again. Having learned from what brought our lives to the shipwreck we have new strength by having persevered. We have a new perspective. We have grown. We are stronger
