A mix of pour and acrylic style, “Jaded” tells a simple story. A man, an entity, is stranded alone in what feels like a never ending journey. Rain pours every day; as depressing as it seems, the rain helps the man in moving on. Soon, the rain turns red and it hits harder, slower, and gooier. Eventually, the rain becomes too much to overcome and the man feels overwhelmed. It’s as panic inducing as it is aesthetically pleasing. The man just hopes that none of it penetrates his boat where it will inevitably sink.
