Missing the city I was born, I started to paint São Paulo as I remember it. A colourful city with huge buildings.
The painting and buildings changed several times and it has many layers of paint.
I like the straight, tall and collorful buildings and played with there dimensions using a few of my favourite colours.
Years ago I painted a larger version (1x 1,60) with still proudly hangs on my dining room wall. Now with the Coved-19 I decided to reproduce it. The painting is ready to hang on the wall. Sides of the painting are painted as well, so it is not framed.
