Today, the Day. Now, the Time
Today, the Day. Now, the Time
Stitched, burned, cut & collaged, painted and layered. The many textures and processes allude to layers of history, pain, anguish - of memories stitched together randomly and oftentimes inaccurately or cut into the collective unconscious of those who have suffered.
The central geometry represents the power of Today and the potential we have to adapt. Those of us with inaccurate historical shared memory have a chance to re educate ourselves and seize the opportunity for change that we have in our grasp. Those of us who have suffered, have a much needed opening to tell their history and own their story without being gaslighted.
