This painting came about as I felt myself yearning to reach a balance between small shapes and large free form shapes. I was determined to stay within my general tendency and style of combining linear, over and underlying, flowing lines of color and yet have some dominant, large shapes remain.

I returned to incorporating a greater amount of metallic color in this painting, as I realized that had added something special in past paintings and presented some nice, special reflective qualities.

In this effort I think I succeeded in creating a painting that stayed within my overall style but yet appears unique, energized and distinct.
