This is a mixed-media painting built up in layers to create a subtle dynamic background.  I have used an everyday object as inspiration to create a visual story in pattern, shape, and colour.  It is a fun, whimsical, quirky moment in which a mishap occurs, ultimately an aesthetic opportunity.   The style is inspired by pop art and art deco.
